It’s still summer, incredibly more than half way through the year, and I’m ready to keep my glow on. I’ve been keeping up with my New Years resolutions; to work out more and to take more time for me in efforts to continue to feel good about myself. Having a little tornado of a child takes a toll over the years on the “ME” time, so these have been resolutions that I hold close to my heart.
Working out isn’t always about feeling good. Lets face it, you have to feel good in what you wear to the gym. The better you feel and look, the more apt you are to work out, right? That’s my philosophy anyway, and so far it has worked. Today, at Beyond the Rack, I grabbed some new Markia Tek workout clothes. I nabbed the High Impact Nylon Sports Bra in Fandango Pink and Charcoal, the matching Kappa Capri Legging in Smoked Pearl and the Dasher Capri Legging in Fandango Pink. Great workout clothes that are comfortable working out in are sometimes hard to come by. I have had a lot of luck with the different Marika lines over the years. Buying them on sample sale sites make them very affordable and well worth stocking up on.
Also, at Beyond the Rack, the ever popular MAC Cosmetics has a spectacular sale going on. Great makeup is a key to looking fresh and glowing all year long. I had to stock up on a couple of my favorite items as finding them on sale is difficult. My steals were the MAC Powder Blush in Dainty, their fabulous Limited Edition Paint Pot in Let’s Skate, Single Eye Shadow in Knight Divine (great for smoky eyes) and Superglass Lip Gloss in Super-Flash. Love, love, love a fresh face and new makeup. Its a great way to inexpensively update your look and feel good!
I’m loving that the sample sale sites, especially Beyond the Rack today, are helping me achieve my New Years resolutions throughout the year… and keep up my shopping habit! Win-Win!
