Avelle/BBOS Private Sale - Incentive: $25 credit for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Beyond the Rack – Incentive: $10 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
A Canadian based private sale site set to expand soon, we love the brands and prices at Beyond the Rack. Our one complaint? The shipping is S-L-O-W. Like, we’ve had some items take 6 weeks to get to me kind of slow. We think they place their orders with brands directly, who then ship them the merchandise, and then BTR ships it to customers. It would speed things up a lot if they just stocked all their sale items and shipped back to the brand what they couldn’t sell. We’re just sayin’.
B Trendie! – Incentive: $10 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Beauty Story – - Incentive: $10 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Bidz – - Incentive: $15 for each friend who joins and purchases, $10 for each friend of a friend who joins and purchases, $5 for each friend of THAT friend who joins and purchases! The credits can really add up!
Owned by the same folks that own Modnique.com, Bidz is an auction site like eBay for jewelry and other luxe goods! We’re talking Chanel scarves and Gucci watches. J’adore!
Billion Dollar Babes – - Incentive: $20 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Biva – - Incentive: $10 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
A relative newcomer to the scene, Biva carries designer fragrances, bags, wallets, sunglasses and more. We have yet to make a purchase but plan to soon!
BonVoYou –Incentive: $25 for each friend referred who makes a purchase
Great new site with travel private sales – similar concept to Gilt’s Jetsetter.
BULX –Incentive: $25 for each friend referred who makes a purchase
The first high end home improvement private sale site – BULX has everything from potties to planters!
Cocosa –Incentive: £15 for every friend referred who makes a purchase
Cocosa is a private-sale site that currently ships to the UK and Northern Ireland only.
Editor’s Closet – Incentive: $10 for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Enviius – - Incentive: $20 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
A Canadian based site that also ships to the US, Enviius features some great designer brands as well as some unknowns (at least to us in the States).
Envite – - Incentive: $25 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Generally featuring higher end luxe brands, Envite is a newcomer and still seems to be working some bugs out in their site, but can you say Christian Louboutins for under $500?! Yes, they’ve had ‘em!
Gilt City – Incentive: $25 off for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Similar to GroupOn, Gilt City is currently in the cities of New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston, but the company does have plans to expand.
Gilt Groupe -
Incentive: $25 off for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Possibly the most well known and best private sale website featuring affordable brands as well as higher end luxe items by names like Gucci, Diane Von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs and more. We shop there so much we probably should be getting that special “Gilt Noir” black card for members that spend over $10,000 a year! Move over Gwenyth!
Gilt Man – Incentive: $25 off for each referred friend that makes a purchase
The testosterone filled version of Gilt Groupe.
Glam List – Incentive: $5 for each referred friend that makes a purchase; $20 for 9 months of VIP access.
Glamlist generally has relatively unknown brands but I did pick up a couple pairs of Diesel jeans there once, and their prices rarely are over $100.
Luxury Hut — Incentive: $15 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
One Kings Lane – Incentive: $25 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Row Nine Incentive: $25 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Rue La La Incentive: $10 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Sample Sale Shop Incentive: $5 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Seshday Incentive: $10 in credits for each referred friend that makes a purchase
Know of an Online Sample Sale Site that we’ve missed? Quelle horror! Please Email Us so we can add it right away! Thanks!!!
<Before you shop at one of these online sample sales, check out these tips for getting in on the sale madness!
1. Find out what time the sale starts and get online as soon as it does. Many sites only carry a few items in each size and they best pieces sell out in minutes.
2. Know the store’s return policy. Some of them are for credit only, or some allow returns but within a certain number of days. Sometimes these online sample sales feature final sales on deeply discounted items up to 90% off! Great deal – but if the item doesn’t fit, you must be willing to accept that fact, or do what I do and sell it on eBay to recoup what you spent!
3. Understand that most items are from a prior season. As long as you understand this, you can find classic pieces from prior seasons that will still work in your wardrobe for many seasons to come. Great jeans, classic dresses and tops and handbags will become staples in your closet regardless of the season.
4. Don’t get sucked in and be willing to walk away. If all the good stuff goes before you get online – don’t let your adrenaline get the best of you and buy something you won’t wear. If you don’t find what you were looking for, there will always be another sale…and we should know – we do a weekly rundown of what sales are coming up online! Also, check and make sure the sale price is really a good deal. Sometimes you find great items at over 50% off, and sometimes the prices don’t really seem that good…so if not, hold out for another sale.
5. If you missed out on that must-have item, try putting it on your “wait list” – sometimes an item gets returned to the store or they get more in stock and will email you when they do a few weeks later! If you really want it, it may be worth the wait!
If you still can’t find your item and its all sold out – try searching here to find it on the web at the best price:
